Alaska BOW Program
I am writing to let you know what a huge difference the Becoming an Outdoors- Woman program has made in my life and to thank you for supporting it… it has become the most empowering experience of my life and I have been encouraging all my girl friends to attend as soon as they can.
I am 38 years old and moved to Alaska 4 years ago from the east coast. Not having anyone to teach me to ski, hunt, fish, etc. I felt really frustrated until I found out about this program. Now I feel like I can more fully enjoy this great big gorgeous state, get outside more, teach my son how to do all these things too. My husband is from Boston, so he never had the chance to learn these skills either. Now I get to teach them to him!
This program helps create passionate, confident stewards of our natural world. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting it the way you do.
